Do you want to become an IT professional in Oradea? If you’re enrolled in high school or university in a tech-related field, you can now apply for a scholarship and free accommodation.
To apply, please contact the administration office at your faculty.
If you are enrolled in a tech-related high school program and you have an outstanding academic track, Oradea City Hall will help you continue your studies in this field.
You can apply for a scholarship of 200 Lei per month for the remainder of your time in high school if you meet the requirements listed below:
In order to be eligible, you need to meet all of the following requirements:
You need to be a high school student in the 11th or 12th grade, studying a tech-related field (mathematics and computer science)
You need to have had a GPA of at least 8.50 in the year previous to receiving the scholarship.
After graduating from high school you need to follow one of the universities in Oradea, in a tech-related field. Failing to do so will result in you returning to scholarship money.

If you came to study in Oradea and you’re registered in a tech-related university program, Oradea City Hall will help you by providing free accommodation and meals for the duration of your university studies.
In order to be eligible, you need to meet all of the following requirements:
You need to have your permanent residence in a city/town/village other than Oradea.
You need to be registered in one of the local universities, following a tech-related program: Computer and Information Technology, System Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications and Information Technologies, Mechatronics Engineering etc.
You need to get an internship in a local IT company each year during your studies.
You need to have passed all your exams.
